We strive to provide users with a fair and unbiased recruitment search platform which shares the information provided by you, the candidate, to potential recruiters through our online search tool. We guarantee all information collected, stored and shared by us is done so on a lawful basis, with the sole intention of providing the users with the potential employment opportunities filtered by search criteria the user provides. The privacy of our registered candidates and recruiters is imperative to us in providing our best possible service.

Lawful Bases for Processing

We will only collect and process personal data about you where we have lawful bases. Lawful bases include consent (where you have given consent), contract (where processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you to deliver the CeeVid Services you have requested). Where we rely on your consent to process personal data, you have the right to withdraw or decline your consent at any time.

Data We Collect

Registration

To create an account, you need to provide data including your name, country, email address and a password. If you register for a premium Service, you will need to provide payment (e.g., credit card) and billing information.

Profile Information

You have choices about the information on your profile, such as your education, work experience, location, availability, salary expectations, a “CeeVid” and preferred job. You don’t have to provide additional information on your profile; however, profile information helps you to get more from our Services, including helping recruiters and business employers find you. Please do not post or add personal data to your profile that you would not want to be seen availably by potential employers.

How We Use & Share Your Data

Our Services allow you to be found for career opportunities, which you have the freedom to decline or accept. Your profile can be found only by those looking to hire, OTHER CANDIDATES ARE UNABLE TO OBTAIN PERSONAL INFORMATION THROUGH CEEVIDS SERVICE. We will use your data to show employers who are looking for candidates at a company, in an industry, function and location that matches your given criteria. You can signal that you are interested in changing jobs and share further information with job recruiters once a “Handshake” is accepted through our messaging service. We may use automated systems to profile and provide search results to help make our Services more relevant to our customers, both Candidates and Recruiters. Keeping your profile accurate and up-to-date may help you better connect with the recruiters and to opportunities they provide through our Services.

Should a Candidate opt-in and consent to our additional services, we may use your “CeeVid” provided by candidates for communications promoting membership and social engagement purposes. Candidates carry the right to opt back out and restrict further use should they wish via the settings menu.

Your Choices & Consents

Data Retention

We retain your personal data while your account is in existence or as needed to provide you Services. This includes data you provided to us and data generated or inferred from your use of our Services. Even if you only use our Services when looking for a new job every few years, we will retain your information and keep your profile open until you decide to close your account.

Rights to Access & Control Your Data

We provide many choices about the collection, use and sharing of your data, from deleting or correcting data you include in your profile to advertising opt-outs and communication controls (handshake accepting).

We adhere to the rights of an individual to control their personal data on our platform. CeeVid gives control to uses should they wish the delete, change or Correct, restrict use of, and access their data. On top of these rights being reachable through our platform’s settings menu and editing buttons, you can ask us to stop, delete, change and/or correct any data provided, and we will consider your request in accordance to the applicable regulations.

Should an individual think their data is being handled incorrectly they may contact us to resolve any issue, should they wish to escalate, individuals have the right to complain to the ICO authority.
